REVIEW:TYRANT is the first instalment in Sapphire Knight’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF CARNAGE MC: ALABAMA dark, erotic, MC romance. This is club VP Chris ‘Tyrant’ Knight, and Blair’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Tyrant and Blair) TYRANT follows the building relationship between our story line couple. Chris ‘Tyrant’ Knight has tickets to a concert in Las Vegas but none of his MC brothers are free. On his journey to Nevada, Tyrant picks up a stranger, a hitch hiker with no place to go, the woman with whom Tyrant will fall in love. Blair is a young woman, on the run, away from a dark and controlling past. Blair left something behind, something she is desperate to reclaim as her own but a weekend in Vegas ends with Blair ghosting Tyrant, and in the ensuing aftermath, more than the MC is looking to reclaim our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Tyrant and Blair, and the potential fall-out as Blair’s pasts demands our heroine pay for her sins.

The world building focuses on Blair’s escape from her past; her need to take back what she left behind, and the relationship with Tyrant predicated upon a lie.

The relationship between Tyrant and Blair begins on the road. Blair is homeless; on the run; desperate to stay ahead of the people hunting her down. Tyrant suspects there is more to Blair than she lets on, keeping secrets that may threaten their growing relationship. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

We are introduced to several members of the Kings of Carnage MC: MC prez Havoc, SAA Rogue, and Road Captain Creed. Everyone, including the club girls, are welcoming of our story line heroine.

TYRANT is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, family and acceptance. The fast paced, character driven premise is captivating and dramatic; the romance is seductive; the characters are desperate and dynamic.
