ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 19, 2016

Money or love? Which would you choose?

You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it’s an easy decision.

For me, it’s not. Did I mention it’s a lot of money? A hell of a lot.

I needed to go far away to think it through.

As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.

Then, he left.

I thought I’d never see him again.

But fate had other plans.

Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.

Carter was dangerous and always on the move.

Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.

He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.

A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter’s reputation were never far behind.

I didn’t know what to believe.

But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.

At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

REVIEW: PLAYBOY PILOT is the latest stand alone, contemporary adult romance story line co-authored by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. This is airline pilot Carter Clynes, and heiress Kendall Sparks’s story line

Told from dual first person points of view (Carter and Kendall) PLAYBOY PILOT follows Kendall Sparks as she is about to make a life-altering decision and needs a few days away before taking the final step. Enter Carter Clynes, airline pilot and manwhore extraordinaire who sweeps our heroine into an adventure around the world beginning in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil that will culminate in heartbreak, misunderstanding, romance and love.

Carter Clynes has a reputation within the airline industry and he has earned his reputation both in and out of the bedroom. He likes to sing Beatles songs, and references many a line in his growing love for our story line heroine. Meeting Kendall Sparks throws all of Carter’s playboy ways into the wind as he endeavors to clean up his image-an image that has been fueled by too many encounters with co-workers and friends But there is a softer side to our story line hero, a side he keeps hidden for the people back home. Kendall is a woman whose future will be dependent upon the choices she makes, and whether or not she will fall in love, and Carter is the man who calls to her heart.

The relationship between Carter and Kendall is one of immediate attraction as our airline pilot pushes Kendall to step outside of her comfort zone and take a ‘literal’ leap into the unknown. There is plenty of back and forth sexual banter. When Carter’s past comes back with news of a different kind, our heroine walks away breaking the heart of the man with whom she has fallen in love. The $ex scenes are seductive and provocative.

There are a large number of secondary and supporting characters including the people who live in Carter’s condo village, several of Carter’s co-workers and airline service personnel, as well as a bevy of Carter’s prior one-night stands who seem to come out of the wood work the more our heroine falls in love with her man. We are also introduced to Carter’s friend Gordon, and Kendall’s mother who pushes her daughter in more ways than one.

PLAYBOY PILOT is a sweet and sexy story with plenty of humor and fun; romance and love; heartbreak and perceived betrayal. The premise is lighthearted but intense; the characters are passionate and energetic; the romance is breathtaking and exquisite. PLAYBOY PILOT is journey towards love and a happily ever after.

NOTE: Excerpt intended for mature readers 18+

“Carter? What are you doing?”
Shit.
I laughed under my breath and banged the back of my head against the wood. “Praying?”
“Do you always breathe like that when you’re praying?”
“It’s an intense prayer.”
“What are you really doing?”
“I think you might know what I’m really doing, Kendall.”
“Can I come in?”
Still fully erect, I tucked my cock back into my pants as best I could before opening the door.
Her eyes trailed down to my massive erection. “I’m sorry….to make you resort to that.”
“It’s okay. My hand and I haven’t spent time like this since I was a teenager. I think he missed me.”
“What were you thinking about?”
“You.”
“Yeah…but what specifically?”
“It was this fantasy of fucking you on the dance floor back at the club.”
She looked down at me again. Her expression was serious when she asked, “You need some help?”
“I thought you said we weren’t going to go there.”
“I can’t have sex with you. But I want to touch you. I could take my clothes off, let you finish what you started. You know…help you.”
Looking up at the ceiling, I shook my head. “You have no fucking clue, do you?”
“What do you mean?”
“How crazy you make me. There’s no halfway with you. Jerking off with your naked body right in front of me…not being able to do what I really want to you…would be torture. I don’t have that kind of willpower, not with you, not anymore. Even when I kiss you, all I can think about is burying myself inside of you. But you naked in front of me? Too much, Kendall. When you strip down for me, I want it to be when you’re ready to let me have you. Otherwise, it’s better if I don’t know what I’m missing out on.”
Looking filled with remorse, she waved her hands. “Okay. I get it. I’m sorry…for interrupting.”
“Go back to bed. I’ll be right there.”
After Kendall left, I closed my eyes in regret. Was I crazy for turning her away like that?
Now that she knew what I was up to in here, I couldn’t relax. Still needing release like a motherfucker, I turned on the shower and got in. Ironically, I jerked myself to thoughts of her naked body against the bathroom door and imagined she was watching me.
Fuck my life.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 18, 2016

The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn’t exactly make a good impression.

I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date.

He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice.

So I told him to mind his own damn business—his own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn business—and went back to my miserable date.

When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date.

I couldn’t help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.

When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.

But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined us—telling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood.

My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting.

When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I’d never see him again.

I mean, what were the chances I’d run into him again in a city with eight million people?
Then again…

What were the chances a month later he’d wind up being my new sexy boss?

REVIEW: BOSSMAN is the first installment in Vi Keeland’s adult, contemporary Dirty Office erotic, romance series This is business entrepreneur Chase Parker, and advertising and promotions executive Reese Annesley’s story line

Told from dual first person perspectives (Chase and Reese) using present day and memories from the past, BOSSMAN looks at the forbidden relationship between Chase Parker and Reese Annesley. Reese is desperate to escape her current employer-a failed office ‘romance’, and being overlooked for promotion meant Reese was on the fast track, going nowhere. An accidental meeting at a local bar with Chase Parker found our heroine on the receiving end of a night filled with stories and sexual attraction leading Reese to an interview and the possibility of a new job at Parker’s company. What ensues is the forbidden relationship between boss and employee, and Chase’s struggle to let go of the past.

Both Reese and Chase have suffered tragedy in their pasts. Reese’s inability to feel safe is a reminder of what happened years before; Chase’s guilt and grief prevent our story line hero from moving forward in his personal life-in this, Chase begins to push Reese away but not before breaking her heart one last time.

The attraction and chemistry between Chase and Reese is immediate and palpable but our couple are at odds about what they want going into the future. Chase owns the company for which Reese works, and Reese has already suffered through a failed, office fling. There is plenty of sexual banter and sinful innuendo, and of course the requisite curious concerns when Reese’s fellow employees become aware of her office romance with the bossman. The $ex scenes are intimate, sexy and seductive.

We are introduced to several secondary and supporting characters including Reese’s best friend Jules, her brother Owen, and a number of employees at Parker Industries. Samantha Richmond, Chase’s best friend since childhood, is a font of information about Chase’s past; and Reese’s immediate boss Josh Lange has too many concerns about Reese’s relationship with the company owner.

BOSSMAN is a fun and sexy read. There are moments of heartbreak and sorrow when Chase’s past becomes his present. The angst is grounded in grief and guilt-an emotion Chase has a difficult time letting go. The premise is entertaining, thoughtful and humorous; the characters are animated, lively and real; the romance is steamy and provocative. BOSSMAN is a wonderful summer read for a lazy afternoon – beside the pool or in bed with your own ‘boss man’.

excerpt

“Sorry, I wasn’t looking where—”

I froze.

The sight of Chase standing there was almost enough to knock me over. I’d secretly hoped to see him, yet never thought I actually would. What are the chances? I did a double take, sure I was seeing things. But it was him all right, in the flesh. And what flesh it is. Standing there shirtless and wet—wearing nothing but a pair of low-slung swim trunks—he had me stuttering. Literally.

“Ch…Ch…Ch—” I couldn’t get the word out.

Of course, Chase didn’t miss a beat. He smirked and leaned in. “You do a cute train impression, Buttercup.”

He remembers me.

I shook my head, attempting to snap myself out of it. But it was no use. He was so tall, and I was so short, I had no choice but to stare at his body. Water trickled down his abs. I was mesmerized watching it speed up and slow down as it crossed the rippled lines of his six-pack. Damn.
I cleared my throat and finally spoke. “Chase.”

I was pretty freaking proud of myself for getting that much out. He had a towel slung around his neck and lifted it to dry off his dripping hair, revealing even more flesh. His pectoral muscles were carved and perfect. And—oh, my God…is that… Holy shit. It is. His nipples were cold and erect, and one of them was….was…pierced.

ABOUT THE BOOK: April 11, 2016

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days—until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him—all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

REVIEW: STUCK UP SUIT is a contemporary, adult, erotic romance stand alone story line co-authored by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. This is successful businessman Graham Morgan, and personal assistant Soraya Venedetta’s story line. There is a slight cross over with Vi and Penelope’s COCKY BASTARD.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Graham and Soraya) STUCK UP SUIT follows the building relationship between Graham Morgan and Soraya Vendetta who meet when Graham accidentally loses his cell phone on the morning commute. When Soraya ‘tries’ to return the cell phone to Graham, the snarly and angry businessman refuses to acknowledge her existence or the fact that she returned his personal property. Leaving Graham a few personal camera images on his phone, Soraya walks away hoping to never hear from the pr*ck again. What ensues is Graham’s attempt to win Soraya at any cost while her presence in his life, changes our hero into a different man.

STUCK UP SUIT focuses on family, betrayal and heartbreak. While Graham tries to get Soraya to open up about her life, Graham himself is about to discover that there are secrets in his past he knew nothing about. There are several moments of humor and fun, as well as the emotional fall out of betrayal and grief.

The world building focuses on the relationship between Soraya and Graham-his need for the woman that calls to his heart; and Soraya’s need to let go of the past. When Graham’s past comes looking for a second chance, Soraya is willing to step away so history doesn’t repeat itself-again.

STUCK UP SUIT is a wonderful and brilliant read with a fascinating group of characters and a premise that is emotional, funny, heartbreaking and inspiring- a great blend of everything you could want in a romance story. The characters are colorful, energetic and often tender; the romance is passionate, sensual and intense.

excerpt

Outside of the restaurant, Graham’s black car was already curbside. He must have had it waiting and called the driver when I went to the restroom.
“If you’re not going to come home with me, I insist on at least giving you a ride home to your place.”
“The subway is right around the corner. I’m good.”
He shot me an annoyed glance. “Give a little, Soraya. It’s a ride home, not a ride on my cock. And I think you know by now that I’m not a serial killer.”
“You’re so crass.”
He put his hand on the small of my back and steered me to the waiting open car door. I didn’t put up a fight. Graham was right, I was being stubborn while he had pretty much agreed to anything I demanded. Something told me it was a rare occasion when the man was this flexible.
When we arrived at my apartment, Graham walked me to the door.
“When will I see you again?”
“Well, tomorrow is Saturday, so I suppose maybe Monday on the train.”
“Have dinner with me again tomorrow?”
“I have plans.”
His jaw flexed. “With whom?”
We embarked into a lengthy stare off. His gaze was hard. When neither of us gave for a few minutes, he grumbled Christ under his breath, and before I realized what was happening, my back was against the door, and his mouth was on mine.
He kissed me as if he wanted to eat me alive. Before releasing my mouth, he took my lower lip between his teeth and tugged. Hard. With his lips vibrating up against mine, he spoke. “Don’t push me to my limit, Soraya.”
“Why? What will happen?”
“I’ll push back. And I’m trying not to do that with you.”
He was being honest, and I realized I should appreciate that. “To my sister’s house. It’s my niece’s birthday party. That’s where I’m going tomorrow night.
He nodded. “Thank you.”
It took every bit of my willpower to go inside and shut the door behind me. I leaned my back against the door, unable to remember the last time I was so hot and bothered. Maybe not ever. His mouth was sinful; the thought of what he could do with that wicked tongue other places on my body kept me in a state of arousal that bordered on frenzied. But it was more than that. The way he was so dominating and controlling, yet exercised restraint to respect my wishes, was the sexiest thing I’d ever seen. The man stimulated something that had been sleeping inside of me. I needed a glass of wine and an orgasm. Not necessarily in that order. If I was going be firm on my stance that we get to know each other and not have sex, then taking things into my own hands was absolutely essential.
In my bedroom, I stripped out of my clothes. I didn’t sleep naked every night, but tonight was definitely a bare evening. As I slipped into bed, my cell rang.
“Is phone sex on the table?” Graham’s voice was a needy rasp. Whatever cooling off my body had done since I left him on the other side of the door was instantly reheated. His voice could definitely speed things up for me. But…
“Sex is off the table. That should probably include all types of sex. Intercourse, oral, phone.”
He groaned. “Oral. God, I want to taste you. And feel that metal tongue ring on my cock. You have no idea how difficult it was to control myself tonight every time I caught a glimpse of that metal when you spoke. It’s like you’re taunting me with every word. What are you wearing, Soraya?”
That voice. I needed to record him saying What are you wearing, Soraya? So I could play it over and over again in a loop when I needed to satisfy my own needs. “I’m actually not wearing anything. I just got undressed and slipped into bed.”
“You sleep naked?”
“Sometimes.”
He actually growled. “Touch yourself.”
“I plan to. But I think I’m going to need both hands tonight. So I’m going to hang up first.”
“How long do you plan on driving me crazy, Soraya?”
“Good night, Graham.” I hung up without waiting for him to respond. Even though my body physically ached for the man, I wasn’t ready to open that door with him just yet. Although as I glided my hand down my body alone in my bed, the only thing I could think of was God, I wish it was his hand.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 18, 2016

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all.
And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera.

The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.
When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me. But I don’t date players. And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football. I’d date an athlete. It’s the other kind of player I don’t date. You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid. Brody Easton was the ultimate player.

Every woman wanted to be the one to change him. But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for. Turned out, I was that girl. Simple right?

Let’s face it. It never is. There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after… And this one is ours.

•••••••••••

REVIEW: THE BALLER is the first installment in Vi Keeland’s DOWN AND DIRTY FOOTBALL stand alone erotic romance story line focusing on professional football quarterback/Super Bowl MVP Brody Easton, and television sportscaster Delilah Maddox.

Told from three first person points of view (Delilah, Brody, Willow) THE BALLER follows Delilah Maddox as one of a handful of female television sports journalists who enters the locker rooms of the professional football league. Her first on-air assignment finds Delilah face to face with cocky, self assured Super Bowl MVP Brody Easton-a man who isn’t afraid to push all of Delilah’s buttons. Their first introduction to one another finds Delilah facing a naked Brody when he drops his towel in an bold act of defiance. What ensues is Brody’s pursuit of Delilah Maddox and Delilah’s need to remain neutral and professional in the face of public scrutiny. Their mutual love of football is a family tradition with both of their father’s originally star quarterbacks as well.

THE BALLER looks at two people whose pasts are mired in heartbreak and loss. Both Delilah and Brody lost someone close, and in this there is a mutual understanding about letting go of the past, and moving forward without looking back, which is easier said than done when Brody’s past comes looking for a second chance.

The relationship between Brody and Delilah is caustic in the beginning. Brody is a bit of an a$$ when it comes to Delilah in the locker room but his a$$holishness hides a desire and attraction he didn’t want to admit. As Brody continues to pursue our heroine, she reminds Brody that she wants something more than a one night stand-to which something Brody is unable to commit. There is plenty of sexual banter, innuendo and come-ons. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense.

There are numerous secondary and supporting characters including coaches, players, journalists, and co-workers. Brody’s remaining family focuses on a woman named Marlene who adds a bit of off-beat humor to Brody’s demanding life. Delilah’s boss is a bit of a jerk-Mr. CUM-is a misogynistic pr*ck who despises women in the workplace or out in the field-he wants an exclusive interview with Brody Easton and uses our heroine to get what he wants.

The world building focuses on the locker rooms, the interviews, and the public and private life of a professional football hero but also looks at the struggle to stay in a committed relationship when everything and anyone is offered on a golden platter.

THE BALLER is a captivating story line with energetic characters and an impassioned romance. There are moments of heartwarming love, intense sexual attraction and passionate romance followed by misunderstand and heartbreaking realization. The premise is lighthearted and enjoyable but dramatic; the characters are colorful and charismatic; the romance is a slow build to a happily ever after. The epilogue fast forwards the story line a couple of years where we get a glimpse into the future for Delilah and Brody.

Baller Teaser 2

excerpt

A new song had just started, and I was enjoying his company when a voice behind me said, “Can I cut in?”
My head whipped around, even though I had no doubt whom the gravelly voice belonged to.
Michael was gracious. “I hate to share. But I suppose I have been hogging the most beautiful woman at the event.” He let go of my hand and stepped back with a gentlemanly nod. “Thank you for the dance, Delilah.”
Again Brody Easton had caught me off guard. Before I knew it, I was dancing with the arrogant jerk. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body tight against his. Way tighter than Michael had held me.
“Good to see you again, Lois Lane.”
The man had balls; I had to give him that. I looked him straight in the eyes. “Nice to see you with clothes on, Easton.”
“Do you prefer me without?”
“I prefer you on the other side of the room.”
He chuckled. It was a hearty laugh. “That’s what happens sometimes when you decide you want to hang out in the men’s locker room.”
I tried to pull back, but he tightened his grip and held me in place. I craned my neck. “Let go of me.”
“No.”
“No?”
“That’s right. No.”
“I can scream at the top of my lungs.”
“I’d like to hear you scream.” His tone made it clear he meant he wanted me underneath him while I was doing the screaming.
“You’re an asshole. You know that?”
“I do. You asked me that yesterday. For a reporter, you should really try changing up your questions more frequently.”
My eyes bulged.
Easton shifted his hand down to the small of my back before twirling us around the dance floor. Figures the prick can dance.
“Are you seeing anyone?”
“You can’t be serious?”
He ignored my comment. “Would you like to have dinner tonight?”
“We just ate.”
“Dessert at my place, then?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Did you hit your head at the game yesterday?”
“On a diet, huh?”
“Yeah. That’s it. I don’t want to go to your place for dessert because I’m on a diet.”
“Well, that’s just a shame.”

Along with Aubrey and Chance we learn a little about their back stories, histories and heartbreaks-it is Chance’s story that will affect his relationship with Aubrey. A trip to Vegas finds Aubrey alone wondering where it all went wrong. The $ex scenes are seductive and provocative, but limited in number.

COCKY BASTARD is a fun read. There are humorous moments, funny banter, and verbal sexual foreplay between Aubrey and Chance. Chance is quick with the one-lines and sexual innuendo resulting in some giggles and laughs throughout the story. Aubrey learns to let go some of her preconceived notions about the man with whom she had fallen in love but trusting Chance with her heart, once again, wasn’t ever going to come easy.

The secondary and supporting characters include Carla the local bartender with a sympathetic ear; Melanie the coffee barista who helps Chance with his seduction of Aubrey; Chance’s sister Adele and her boyfriend Harry; as well as Richard aka Dick –a man who will become an important part of Aubrey’s life. And of course we can’t forget about Pixy-the blind, fainting goat- whose attachment to both Aubrey and Chance continues to grow.

COCKY BASTARD is a delight; an enjoyable and intoxicating look at two people whose lives changed over a bobble-head Obama and a broken down bike. The premise is fun, quirky, and uplifting with a few twist and turns for added drama; the characters are confident and passionate; the romance inspiring and beautiful.

excerpt

A knock at the door made me jump.
With a huff, I got out of bed and stood on my tiptoes to look out the peephole. Why were those things always so high on the door anyway? I was surprised to find no one standing on the other side. Maybe I’d imagined it.
Another knock.
I flicked on the lights. The sound wasn’t coming from the entrance door. It was coming from an interior door I hadn’t even noticed before.
Chance’s door.
I unfastened the top lock and cracked it open just enough so I could see what he wanted. And there he stood.
Shirtless.
Wearing only dark gray boxer briefs that hugged him like a second skin.
It took a minute to understand what he was doing there, even though he was holding up a toothbrush in question.
“I thought we had established I wasn’t a serial killer already.”
I opened the door wider.
He smiled.
Oh lord. Stop that. Right now.
“I must have left my toothpaste in my saddlebag in the car.”
I swallowed hard. “Uh huh.”
He cocked his head to the side, and his brows dipped in. “Can I borrow yours?”
“Oh. Yeah, sure.”
He walked past me and let himself into my bathroom. I waited at the door.
“You got an awful lot of girly crap in here for one night,” he said with a jumbled mouth full of toothpaste from the bathroom. “Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia.”
He was reading my Estee Lauder perfume bottle.
I heard him rinse and spit. Then there was a gargling sound. He used my mouthwash, too. Sure, help yourself.
He walked out and flicked off the bathroom light. “Is tuberose a rose?”
I shook my head, still confused by the whole situation going on.
“That’s why,” he murmured.
“Why what?”
“I couldn’t figure out what you smelled like all day. Not sure I ever smelled a Tuberose before.” He shrugged and walked back into his room but not before turning back. “Even those little black lacy underwear smell like tuberose.”
My eyes bulged. I’d taken off my bra and panties and left them on the bathroom counter.
“You…you—”
“Relax. I’m teasing. Do I look like an underwear sniffer to you?”
Yes.
No.
Maybe?
“Night, Aubrey.” He graced me with a dimple and disappeared.
AH-BREE. Damn him.
I locked the door and checked it twice, unclear if it was for my safety or his. His voice saying my name was on audio replay inside my head, getting softer and softer like a soothing lullaby with each breath as I drifted off to dreamland.
Until the knock came again.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 26, 2015

The rules:

No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.

Rules were made to be broken, right?

Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother

••••••••••••••

REVIEW: THROB is the first storyline in Vi Keeland’s adult, contemporary, new erotic romance series. This is movie executive Cooper Montgomery and poker player/ card dealer Kate Monroe’s storyline.

Told from alternating first person points of view (Kate and Cooper) the storyline focuses on THROB-a ‘reality’ television program akin to The Bachelor with a little bit of Survivor thrown in for good measure, where twenty young women vie for the attention of one man and a chance at $250,000. Kate Monroe will make it to the final four but not before falling in love with someone else-a man who is closely connected to the production company but a man whose need for Kate will completely pull her in another direction.

Cooper Montgomery is the man who will promise Kate the future. When Kate’s contract specifies no outside love interests, no dating and no sex, Cooper Montgomery will be forced to do something he doesn’t want to do in order to protect Kate from the media and potential ramifications of breaking the rules-Cooper will walk away from Kate leaving a heartbroken woman to pick up the pieces of her shattered soul.

The relationship between Cooper and Kate is one of immediate attraction. Introduced while playing a high end game of poker, Cooper is drawn to Kate like no other woman before. Their relationship begins to unfold and in this Kate risks everything to be with the man she is growing to love. The $ex scenes are intimate, arousing and hot. Cooper knows that for Kate to become involved outside of the show, is professional suicide when it comes to the final flower ceremony. But Kate is desperate to win the $250,000, and her reasons are personal and rest heavily at home.

The secondary and supporting characters include Cooper’s half brother Miles-a man whose hatred for his older brother is misdirected. We are introduced to Kate’s roommate and best friend Sadie Warner-a Hollywood lawyer-who pushes Kate to take a chance with Cooper Montgomery. Flynn is our rock and roll bachelor; a man who begins to fall in love with the beautiful Kate but a man who knows that Kate’s heart belongs to someone else. There is also the requisite jealous ex; an assortment of cast and crew that follow Kate wherever she goes; and Jessica, who becomes Kate’s main rival on the reality show THROB.

The world building takes the reader into the back room negotiations and casting couches of some of the biggest producers in the business. The ‘unreality’ of reality TV is front and center when a scripted reality finds Kate doing things she doesn’t want to do in order to keep the ratings alive. Reality TV has never looked so ‘unreal’.

Vi Keeland pulls the reader into a storyline of heartbreak and betrayal; friends and family; falling in love and letting go. There are emotional moments of intimacy, drama and passion; and painful moments of betrayal and revenge. THROB is in intimate look at two people who have found love in the right place but at the wrong time. Kate and Cooper’s story is imaginative and exotic. Vi Keeland has penned another winner in THROB.

Every girl needs three things
1. A flutter in her belly when she meets him for the first time.
Meet Cooper
My lips brush the top of her hand lightly, my tongue sneaking out to fleetingly touch her skin. The brief contact stirs an ache inside me. This woman tugs at something—more than arousal—something that makes me want to slow down time just to spend a few more minutes standing here.
“Did you just…” she stammers a bit.
“Did I just what?”
She squints at me. “You know.”
“Do I?”
“I felt your tongue on my hand. You…you licked me.”
I’d been dying to run my tongue along her neck all evening, although I hadn’t really meant to be so crude about it. It just sort of …happened. “I wouldn’t say licked, maybe just a little taste.”
“So you tasted me?”
My entire body suddenly has interest in this conversation. “I suppose I did. But it wasn’t nearly enough. That brings us back to my invitation for dinner. Tomorrow night?”
“I can’t.”
“The day after then?”
She laughs and shakes her head. The sound makes me smile.
“Good night, Cooper.” She pulls the driver’s side door shut and leaves me standing there…for a full five minutes after she’s gone.
2. A best friend to talk about him to.
Meet Sadie
“And?”
“And I kissed him when we were in his office.”
“How was his office?”
“Really? That’s what you want to know. Not how was the kiss or aren’t you in breach of your contract? How was his office?”
“You can tell a lot about a man by his office.”
I gulp another unladylike sip from my wine glass. “His office was beautiful. Sleek, overlooking the city. It oozed power.”
“Nice. Bet he fucks like he owns you.”
The thought of what he’s like in bed is enough to make me lose my train of thought.
“Go on,” Sadie prods.
I don’t continue immediately.
“You forgot what you were up to because you were thinking of him fucking you like he owns you, didn’t you?” My best friend smirks knowingly.
“Shut up.” I pause. “Anyway, I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
“Well, him. Obviously.”
“I wish it were that easy.”
3. A gentleman that turns into a bossy dirty talker in the bedroom.
Cooper – behind closed doors.
“You haven’t even begun to see bossy yet. Tonight I’m going to tell you to do things, and you’re going to do them. When I tell you to open wider, or take my cock deeper, you’re going to listen. You know why? Because since the moment we met, all I’ve wanted to do is make you feel good. Hell, I don’t even need to get off physically. Because I’m going to get off watching you every minute. So, yeah, I’m going to be bossy. Now let’s put the rest of this behind us. Do you want to be with me tonight?”
After that prelude, I nod my head fast. I’m no fool. Who wouldn’t?

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 17, 2014

Meet Liv Michaels
It may have been seven years, but I’d know him anywhere. Sure, he’s grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I’d much rather forget.

Liv Michaels is almost there. She’s smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she’s dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.

Meet Vince Stone
Women love a fighter, especially a good one. Lucky for me, I’m damn good. But there’s one woman that isn’t interested. Not again, anyway.

Vince ‘The Invincible’ Stone is every woman’s fantasy…strong, sexy, confident and completely in control. Growing up surrounded by chaos, he’s learned never to get too attached. Love will drag you down. He adores women, treats them well, puts their own needs before his own…for the night anyway. With the biggest fight of his life coming up, his focus should be on training.

When fate brings Vince & Liv back together again, there’s no denying the chemistry is still there. But can Vince erase the old scars their past left behind? Or will Liv hurt him instead?

REVIEW: WORTH THE CHANCE is the second storyline in Vi Keeland’s contemporary, new adult, erotic romance MMA Fighter series. This is Liv and Vince’s storyline and one that advances the series by several years. Vince is the young street kid from the first storyline Worth the Fight.

The focus of Worth the Chance is a second chance at romance for our leading couple. Liv was Vince’s high school tutor and their past relationship was destroyed the night Vince refused to make love to a much younger Liv and walked away –never to be heard from again. Fast forward several years and Vince and Liv will get a second chance when Liv has been assigned (by her editor) to write a story about the successful MMA fighter Vince Stone.

As the storyline progresses, so too, does Vince and Liv’s relationship. There is an immediate attraction-one not forgotten in the ensuing years-but one that is more mature both sexually and emotionally.

Vince’s success as a fighter is quelled by his past-his mother’s history of drug abuse; the death of his father; and a life in the hardened world of mixed martial arts. But Vince’s life will darken once again when the truth behind Liv’s assignment will break his heart and push him over the edge of control.

The storyline is written from two distinct first person points of view-Liv and Vince including a couple of flashbacks about the past. The relationship between our couple is hot, sexy and spiced with a little bit of jealousy. The reader is pulled into an emotional story where the past meets the present and, comes full circle when a young man discovers that his entire life has been based on a lie. The world building continues from book one with the inclusion of Nico, Elle and Preacher that gives it a familiar feel.

Vi Keeland writes an engaging and intense story of second chances and discovering the truth. When your entire life has been built around a lie the only place to turn is to the future-and a new life with the people who love and support the person that you have always been.

ABOUT THE BOOK: October 3, 2013

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

***Author’s note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

•••••••••••••••••••

REVIEW: WORTH THE FIGHT is the first storyline in Vi Keeland’s contemporary new adult MMA Fighter series focusing on the men of MMA fighting and the women that they love. This is Nico and Elle’s storyline and one that is heartbreaking and full of guilt for a man who was only doing what he was trained to do. Although this is considered a stand-alone, and everything wraps up in the end, the second storyline involves some of the characters from Worth the Fight and fast forwards the series by several years.

The premise focuses on two people with deep, dark secrets in their past but for one the secret is darker and buried deeper. Nico is a champion MMA fighter who after a fight where everything went horribly wrong has pulled himself from the arena and competition. Trying to get himself out of a sponsorship contract, Nico’s attorney William enlists the aid of Elle, a fellow attorney and his (William’s) current girlfriend to research the intricacies of the contract. What ensues is Nico’s attempt to ‘woo’ Elle through dinners, dates and gentleness.

Worth the Fight is a storyline about two people who are unable to let go of the past. Both Elle and Nico suffer guilt and the ensuing nightmares that prevent either of them from moving forward. Both must learn to forgive themselves before they are able to accept that they are capable of loving and receiving love. Each guilt is based on similar yet different tragedies and until Nico is able to forgive himself, Elle fears she will never be able to reach the man beneath.

The relationship between Nico and Elle is sensual, sexual and erotic. Nico takes his time getting to know Elle: he doesn’t push for a sexual relationship but continues to build a foundation. When the two finally make it to the bedroom, the fireworks are bright and the love making is hot. This is a man who knows how to please a woman but he is also a man who is afraid to push too hard.

The world building takes the reader behind the scenes of MMA fighting, the arena and the gym. We are introduced to Nico’s trainer Preach and a young street kid Vinny whose story will be told in Worth the Chance in 2014.

Vi Keeland pulls the reader into a heartbreaking story where two people must learn to forgive themselves, let go of the part and move forward. Until one is able to forgive, the heart is closed to new adventures, new relationships and a future.
