Leah hates Killian. The alpha wolf that rejected her.
He was destined to be her mate, but no, she was too witchy for him. She wasn’t going to stand around waiting for him, and she certainly wasn’t going to follow him around like a lost little puppy.
Just a tiny problem. He needs her.
Her coven and her parents believe it’s a good idea for her to go with him, to help him on his super secret mission. So that’s what she does. Not because she wants to be with him, but because he needs a witch.
Killian is in search of a way to break the mating bond between him and Leah. She cannot be his mate. A witch will be his undoing. He’s seen the prophecy. Leah will destroy the pack, and he can’t allow that to happen.
He has to go on a quest and make the ultimate sacrifice. Mate with Leah, and then end that bond. He has waited a lifetime to find his mate, and now he must let her go. Can he?
Will he destroy the prophecy for the sake of his pack? Or ruin the only good thing to ever come into his life?

REVIEW: WRONG MATE is the seventeenth instalment in Sam Crescent’s contemporary, adult ALPHA SHIFTER COLLECTION erotic, paranormal, romance series of novellas. This is Alpha wolf Killian, and twenty-five year old witch Leah.
Told from dual third person, omniscient perspective (Leah and Killian) WRONG MATE follows in the aftermath of Killian’s rejection of his mate Leah. A prophecy has revealed that a witch will be the destruction of the Pack, and as such, Killian presumes Leah will be the downfall of the wolves. Without giving her a chance, Killian sets out on a journey with his rejected mate in tow, in an effort to sever the mate connection but days together means struggling to disregard the attraction and need, a need that will overcome our story line hero. What ensues is the building relationship between Killian and Leah, and the potential fall-out as Leah’s destiny is about to be foretold.
The relationship between Leah and Killian is one of fated mates but Killian has rejected our story line heroine, a rejection based on supposition, prophecies and lies. Killian has always wanted a mate but never expected to fall in love with a woman who he believe will destroy them all. The $ex scenes are passionate and seductive.
We are introduced to Leah’s parents, as well as one of the highest witches in the coven Lucinda, sirens, vampires, and bears including Leah’s childhood best friend Mystic.
WRONG MATE is a story of prophecies and lies, vengeance and betrayal, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is entertaining; the romance is fated and impassioned; the characters are desperate and determined.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 28, 2023
Karina is not like any of the wolves within her pack. She’s a human. The only human to be born of two wolves.
When her father invites another alpha to take his pick of willing, single, consenting females, Karina has no choice but to be in the lineup. She is pack, she is single, and she knows she is not going to get picked. She is human, and any alpha would be looking for a wolf.
Rage has no desire to take a woman from Westblood’s pack. He doesn’t need a woman to make an alliance against the rogue wolves that are deadly to all wolves. One scent of Karina, and all sense is lost. She is his mate. He doesn’t care that she’s human, all he knows, is that he belongs with her.
Karina doesn’t feel anything for Rage. Even though he claims to be her mate, she doesn’t sense a thing. She has no wolf senses. She is weak. But slowly, little by little, she cannot help but be drawn to the new alpha. He doesn’t treat her with kid gloves. He shows her his wolf, and he is willing to explore with her.
Rage has already figured out why Karina is human. He doesn’t care. She is his love and his soul mate, and he will never let her go.

REVIEW: THE ALPHA’S DAUGHTER is the twentieth instalment in Sam Crescent’s contemporary, adult THE ALPHA SHIFTER COLLECTION erotic, paranormal romance series. This is alpha wolf Rage, and twenty-three year old, Karina Westwood’s story line. THE ALPHA’S DAUGHTER can be read as a stand alone with any difficulty.
Told from omniscient dual third person perspectives (Rage and Karina) THE ALPHA’S DAUGHTER focuses on the building relationship between our story line couple. In an effort to unite their Pack’s in friendship, William Westwood, alpha of the Westwood Pack invites Rage to chose one of single women as his potential mate but no one expected Rage to find his future in William’s youngest daughter Karina, a twenty-three year old woman who is more human than wolf. What ensues is the building relationship between Karina and Rage, and the potential fall-out as Karina believes she is unworthy of love in the face of her inability to shift into a wolf.
The relationship between Rage and Karina is one of immediate attraction. Rage’s wolf knows immediately that Karina is their mate but Karina is unable to shift, has none of the benefits of being a wolf, and is often too sick when she is needed the most. As Rage struggles to prove she is worthy of his love, Karina walks away in an effort to give Rage a chance with someone else. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate. I dislike the use of a certain four-letter word.
The secondary and supporting characters include Karina’s family: her sister Rose, and their parents William and Patricia Westwood, who are over protective of their often-ill daughter.
THE ALPHA’S DAUGHTER is a story of family and friendships, fate and love. The fast paced premise is captivating ; the romance is seductive; the characters are determined and broken.
