REVIEW: TAMING RAPTOR is the first instalment in Kristine Allen’s contemporary, adult RBMC: Dallas TX erotic, paranormal, MC romance series and a part of the multi-authored RBMC series. TAMING RAPTOR and the RBMC: Dallas TX is a spin off from the author’s RBMC Ankey Iowa series. This is former thirty-five year old, Ankeny Iowa VP turned Dallas President Adrien ‘Raptor’ Krow, and twenty-seven year old, former stripper turned manager Sage aka Cookie’s story line.,

Told from three first person perspectives (Adrien, Sage, Blade) following several timelines, RAPTOR focuses on the building relationship between Adrien Krow and Sage. For close to ten years Sage has lusted after, and fallen in love with our story line hero but Sage was a club girl, a stripper, and a woman who with a reputation amongst the other me. Raptor had kept his distance having loved and lost in the past but Sage was insistent and Raptor found himself falling for our story line heroine. A call from back home in Dallas Texas forced Adrien Krow to chose between his blood family and the brothers he loved, and in the process gained a new brotherhood, and the re-implementation of the Royal B*stards MC in Dallas Texas but all was not well in Ankeny Iowa, when the women and strippers became targets of a powerful man, a man who was determined to take ownership of the dancers and our story line heroine. Separated for months, Sage struggled with what was and what will never be but the threats were personal, and Sage found herself facing down the man she would always loves. What ensues is the building relationship between Sage and Adrien, and the potential fall-out as Sage battles between head and heart, and Adrien must come to terms with the past, the present, and forward into the future.

Adrien ‘Raptor’ Krow is a hawk shifter, and comes from a long line of shifter males. Losing his first family to betrayal and lies, Raptor vowed never to fall in love, and never find himself in a position of heart break or loss but the past has returned, and with it, the possibility of rebuilding his family,a family that now includes the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The relationship between Adrien and Sage is highly sexual. Adrien doesn’t do relationships and loves but something about Sage pulls Adrien like a moth to a flame. Returning home to Dallas Texas meant leaving our heroine behind but when Sage becomes the target of a powerful man, her best friend and fellow MC member Blade knows it is time to push our couple back together. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including most of the members of the RBMC Ankeny Iowa, the new start up members with the RBMC Dallas, as well as Adrien’s parents Priscilla and Allen, his sons Sam and Seth, as well as Finley aka Blade.

TAMING RAPTOR is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, loss and love, family and second chances. The premise is intriguing, captivating and engaging; the romance is hot and steamy; the characters are desperate, broken, powerful and magical.
