Told from several omniscient third person perspectives THE QUICKENING continues to focus on billions of years of alien technology now in the hands of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries human and Ai intelligence. Once again, following several time lines, intersecting pathways and probabilities set somewhere between 1970 and 2020 but not relegated to one specific period of time THE QUICKENING focuses on war, power and control, the loss of autonomy and free will, and the sociological impact on human kind.
