REVIEW:THE WOLF is the first instalment in Jade Marshall’s contemporary, adult GYPSY BASTARDS MC erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the members of the Gypsy Bastards MC. This is club enforcer Brandon ‘Wolf’, and waitress/tattoo artist Hadley Freeman’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hadley and Wolf) THE WOLF follows the building relationship between Gypsy Bastards club enforcer Brandon aka Wolf, and Hadley Freeman. Years earlier, Hadley, a product of the MC lifestyle escaped when her brother was murdered for protecting our heroine but life on the run meant Hadley was always one step ahead. Fast forward to present day wherein Hadley, rejecting the advances of a member of the Mongrel MC, finds herself under the protection of the Gypsy Bastards MC when her best friend Storm steps in and saves her life. Enter Gypsy Bastards MC enforcer Wolf. What ensues is the building relationship between Wolf and Hadley, and the potential fall-out as Hadley finds herself a prisoner of the Mongrel MC, and life as she knows it is about to change.

Brandon is a broken man, having loved and lost years before. Never expecting to fall in love again, Brandon is blindsided by his need for Hadley, a need that does not go unnoticed by the other members of the Gypsy Bastards MC. Hadley has known struggle for most of her adult life but a war is brewing between the local MCs and our heroine is caught in the middle as the prize for the taking.

The relationship between Hadley and Wolf is one of immediate attraction but Wolf doesn’t do relationships, and struggles with his feelings and emotions towards our story line heroine. Hadley is a woman who makes friends easily, and as such becomes tight with a couple of the members of the Gypsy Bastards MC but it is not until Wolf stakes a claim do the threats against Hadley become personal and deadly. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

We are introduced to several members of the Gypsy Bastards MC : Club president Pope; Sparrow and his old lady Luna; Viking, Doc, Mad Dog, Beast and Justice; Hadley’s best friend Storm, and newcomer Kaiya. The requisite evil has many faces.

THE WOLF is a story of hardship and betrayal; love and acceptance; power and control. The premise is gritty and raw: the characters are flirty, troubled and flawed; the romance is provocative and consuming-there is a palpable sexual chemistry between our leading couple.

REVIEW:THE POPE is the second instalment in Jade Marshall’S contemporary, adult GYPSY BASTARDS MC erotic, MC romance series focusing on the members of the GYPSY BASTARDS MC. This is Gypsy Bastards MC president Colin ‘Pope’ O’Brien, and exotic dancer/baker Storm Lin. THE POPE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the first instalment THE WOLF for back story as the events in The Pope are directly in relationship to the events of book one.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Pope and Storm) THE POPE follows the second chance romance between Gypsy Bastard MC president Colin ‘Pope’ O’Brien, and Storm Lin. Storm has loved Pope most of her life but Colin was once her sister Winter’s boyfriend, and rejection by Pope sent Storm spiralling out of control. Fast forward to present day wherein Storm works as a stripper at the Gypsy Bastards owned Dusk til Dawn bar and club, a position that keeps Storm front and center with our story line hero but a call from a lawyer sends their lives in another direction. What ensues is the rebuilding relationship between Storm and Pope, and the potential fall-out when the Mongrel MC comes seeking revenge for sins of the past.

Pope O’Brien had been in a relationship with Winter Lin but always felt something stronger for
Storm but pushing Storm out of his life was the biggest regret,and Pope is hoping to start anew with the woman he has always loved but their lives are about to change when secrets are revealed, and revenge takes a toll on the Gypsy Bastards MC. Storm Lin has never stopped loving Colin O’Brien but rejection years before sent Storm spiralling out of control . Four years now clean and sober, Storm will be thrust in another direction when news of a different kind pushes our heroine and Colin back together. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are reintroduced to club enforcer Wolf and his old lady Hadley; Justice, Sparrow, Luna and their son Gage, Mad Dog and Viking, as well as the introduction to the club’s new prospect Bishop. The requisite evil returns demanding back the woman he lost.

THE POPE is a story of family, secrets, betrayal and lies. The premise heart breaking and captivating; the romance is steamy and hot; the characters are energetic and intense.
