The Kayrs family leads not only the vampire nation, but also the Realm, which is a coalition of vampires, shifters, and witches. Years ago, an evil vampire race called the Kurjans declared war on the Realm by creating a deadly virus that infects vampire mates. The prophets of all the races predicted the coming of a young psychic named Janie who is destined to change the world. How, nobody knows. The vampires found her as a young girl, and one of their leaders adopted her and raised her with love and determination. In the final four stories of this series arc, Janie is an adult, and it’s time for that change—if she lives long enough.
