REVIEW:VICTORIOUS Part 1 is the fifth instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult LA DEFIANCE MC erotic, MC romance series. This is the culmination of several instalments focusing on the Rojas Cartel, the Nest, and one man’s determination to control them all. VICTORIOUS part one should not be read as a stand alone as most of the events are as of a direct result of the events of the previous story lines.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from several first person perspectives including Alpha, Haven, Phoenix, and Clover VICTORIOUS part one follows in the wake of the abduction and torture of one of their own, and the resulting spiral and determination to seek revenge but all is not as it appears to be-what was once thought gone has returned with a vengeance, and a new crop of trained assassins and killers is taking aim at the LA Defiance MC.

The world building follows several intersecting paths as Phoenix is tasked with protecting the family,and Alpha struggles in the face of loss. Determined to destroy the people responsible, Alpha and Haven will face down a familiar enemy with a new face, all the while still trying to protect those no longer under their control.

There is a large ensemble cast of energetic, determined and dynamic characters including several of the previous story line couples: Alpha and Haven, Maverick and Sadie, Noah and Rhyan, Loki and Bea, Poppy, and Livvy, as well as the introduction to Nighthawk.

VICTORIOUS Part one is a story of betrayal and vengeance, madness and murder, love and loss, family and friendships. The character driven premise is dark, dramatic, edgy and gritty; the characters are desperate, charismatic, and struggling to move forward. VICTORIOUS part one ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
