🤠 Welcome to Blue River Ranch . . . 🤠

She’s the one he shouldn’t want. He’s the one she doesn’t know she needs.

Rose Evans is off limits.
She’s young, impulsive and my best friend’s little sister.

Now I’m stuck with her as my assistant. And something tells me I’m not the only one willing to cross the line.

Wilder
My brother is out of commission, so I’m left running our ranch on my own all summer. Or at least I was until my best friend proposed hiring his wild-child sister from the East Coast.

It seems perfect . . . until her first day. Because the Rose I once knew is all grown up. Petite, mouthy . . . with sinful emerald eyes that don’t cower at my scowls. She knocks the breath right out of me. And not just because she keeps crashing into me at work. But there’s more to this spitfire than she’s seen for. And I want it all.

Rose
This summer is a chance to slow down, breathe, reset . . . and let go of a past that follows me like a shadow. Instead, I get a grumpy boss with buttons too easy to press.

He thinks I like getting into trouble. He’s addicted to saving me. And the more he does, the easier it is to trust him-with every part of me. But his own heart is locked up tight.

I only have a few weeks left. Will they be enough for him to ask me to stay?

REVIEW: A grumpy cowboy who hates coffee you say? Right up my alley. Wild Rose is the first installment in a new series by Roxanne Tully. No major trigger warnings unless you count smoking hot ranch hands. 🤠

You can take the girl outta the city, but she’s always gonna be a city girl, this is what Rose always thought before her brother talks her into moving across the county to Blue River Springs Colorado. Who knew after all that she had been through, it would be the mountains, open sky and a certain cowboy to wash away the remains of a past she wants to forget.

Wilder is your typical grumpy cowboy, he has past wounds that he would like to forget, and to do that he tends his land, his horses and keeps to himself. He likes his routine, he likes his peace, he has a way of life, but that is all blown out of the water when free-spirited Rose moves to his ranch. Life just got a little more interesting.

When Rose arrives at the ranch, you would think she would be a fish out of water, but no, she takes to her life in strides. Rose quickly becomes a part of the ranch and Wilders new normal, their chemistry sparks even brighter on every interaction. He finds her intriguing, and she finds him hot, when things finally bubble over…well lets just say Wilder has the moves we all hope he does.

Although the story is fast-paced, it is easy and fun to keep up with. The characters are engaging and memorable, making the reader anxious for the next books in the series. I’m looking forward to seeing what else Blue Springs have in store for us.

Roxanne writes contemporary romance with strong realistic heroines and a healthy dose of angst. When she’s not writing, she enjoys hiking, baking and traveling with her real-life male hero.
