ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 18, 2024

I have one job in this arranged marriage, and that’sto seduce my husband.

It should be easy; I’m the heiress to a transatlantic fortune, bred and raised to make a good match. I’ve spent a lifetime building up my endurance, my discipline, my dedication to my god and my church. The danger lies in falling for the devil who put his ring on my finger—a mistake I made years ago, and can’t afford to make again.

There is one more danger: handsome and green-eyed, emotionally wounded. Tristan Thomas, former soldier and my new husband’s bodyguard. A hero who stole my heart with salt-soaked kisses on the sea.

But Lyonesse is not like other places, and this isn’t like other marriages. Soon Tristan, Mark, and I are tangled in a knot of vicious jealousy and gorgeous wickedness, where suspicion is an aphrodisiac and secrets and vows are one and the same.

And there is something far darker at play than my real purpose, than the machinations of the Church I serve. Darker even than the twisted longings of my own heart. Because my husband has secrets of his own, and the reason he’ll stop at nothing to possess me could slice my soul deeper than the honeysuckle-hilted knife he gave me once upon a time.

Because when it comes to Mark Trevena and his games, the first cut is more than the deepest—it’s the sweetest.

And he always leaves you begging for more…

REVIEW:Honey Cut is book two in the Lyonesse series by the ever spicy Sierra Simone. I don’t even know where to start with this book, the lies, the pain, the mistakes and regret, all there front and center for everyone to experience. Book one in this trilogy is a MUST read!

Tristan, Mark and Isolde are back again in the continuation of book one, and Lord almighty, I was not prepared, there was no getting prepared, or being prepared, it was simply..raw. Tristan and Isolde, fall deeper in love as the book progresses all while trying to hide those same feelings, and then there is their attraction and chemistry with Mark. The quiet, always brooding, sullen Mark, both drawing them together and keeping them apart all at the same time.

HC is most definitely a slow burn, but have mercy Ms. Author, the spicy bits in the book need to come with their own warnings, hot and heavy don’t even cover it. There is so much to unpack in this second book, and more so makes me want Mark’s POV and how his mind works. There are parts to the plot that I am still a little confused on, and others I can’t wait to see how they work out. Of course the Queen Devil herself had to go and end it the way she did, I think she likes to torture us just a little, keeps the readers coming back for more that is sure.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 12, 2023

Tristan Thomas is lost.

After leaving the Army, the young former soldier is in limbo. Until, that is, he’s hired by Mark Trevena, the owner of Lyonesse—DC’s ultra-secret club—to be Mark’s new bodyguard. He’s drawn into Mark’s dark, seductive world of power and desire, and slowly drawn to Mark himself, even though Mark is everything Tristan knows he shouldn’t want: cruel and wicked and shamelessly amoral.

But protecting Mark isn’t Tristan’s only duty: soon, Mark asks him to guard his soon-to-be bride as she travels home from Ireland on Mark’s yacht. Tristan is jealous—and hurt to learn that the object of his obsession is engaged—but the soldier in him is made to obey orders, and he goes to fetch Mark’s bride for him.

Isolde Laurence is nothing like Tristan expected, however. Young, quiet, and sharp, she’s being pushed into this marriage by her family, and as the two travel back to America, Tristan finds himself fascinated with Isolde and the glimpses he gets of the lonely but determined woman behind her reserve. And the fascination is mutual: one night, while sailing under the cold stars, they share a searing kiss.

From there, it’s a fast fall into the forbidden.

But in Mark Trevena’s world, the fall is only the beginning…

REVIEW:I’m going to have to start charging authors for the amount of time I spend in therapy because of these books I read! (mostly kidding) Sierra Simone is back at it again with a new series, and one that has me in a literal chokehold.

Salt Kiss is a fast paced full novel that is marketed in my opinion as a MMF romance. It is not that. The book starts as a MM romance with a erotica BDSM twist, it has plenty of darkness, spice and ki*k, but as I read it, it felt like I was reading the book blurb. Nothing wrong with that though, the plot keeps you engaged, but its the spice that has clutching the book tighter and tiger.

Tristan, Mark and Isolde are a unique story in a world that I don’t think many people explore as much as they should. Tristan’s struggles, the intensity of the characters’ connections were all so vivid. There are parts of the BDSM sections of the book that are very different from other books I have read with it. No spoilers, but I think that played a big part of the storyline. There aren’t many authors that have books with LQBTG characters as the main lead, and this one has that and more.

Sierra Simone has always been a favorite author of mine, and as she keeps putting books out like this, I will continue to be a loyal reader. Mind the trigger warnings before reading this fantastic book!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 7, 2021

I can’t have Elijah Iverson.

I can’t have him because he’s my older brother’s best friend. I can’t have him because I broke his heart five years ago; because he’s now engaged to someone else—someone kind and dependable who deserves his whiskey eyes, his soft mouth, his fierce intellect.

I can’t have Elijah because I’ve chosen God instead.

The Bell brothers, though . . . well, we don’t exactly have the greatest track record with vows. But I’m determined to do this monk thing right—to pledge myself to a cloistered life and spend the rest of my years in chastity and prayer. But now Elijah’s here. He’s here and he’s coming with me on my European monastery road trip, and between the whispered confessions and the stolen kisses and the moments bent over an ancient altar, my vows are feeling flimsier by the day.

And vows or not, I know in my heart that it would take more than a good and holy monk to resist Elijah Iverson right now. It would take a saint.

And we all know that I’m no saint.

REVIEW: Wowzers!!!!

Book three in the Priest series by Sierra Simone is here and what a whopper this one is! Saint is a gay romance that will ignite the blood and keep your fantasy busy for days to come. All books in the series can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading them in order at least.

Aiden and Elijah. A combo that I knew I was going to be obsessed with. Aiden is a monk, and a very complicated complex character. He is so much more than I ever gave him credit for, in this book we get down into his deepest thoughts and darkest memories. When everything comes to light towards that back half of the book, get ready readers, it’s gonna stop your breath. Aiden and Elijah have a past and they’ve known each other for a while. While their story is so freaking hot in the spicy department, I wish we would have got a little more of their relationship. There was so much to tell, so much to live to, but parts of the story felt a little flat for me. Only parts though, and not enough to make this any less than a four-star review.

Aiden and Elijah used to be together and some stuff happened and they broke up. The book starts off where they break up and Elijah, as a journalist, comes to do a story about Aiden and the monastery. He uses this as his chance to tell Aiden that he is getting married. Well, that doesn’t end well. As soon as they see each other the feelings return and they are left with a now forbidden desire for each other. From there the spicy just skyrockets!

Sierra Simone is a freaking genius when it comes to writing these kinds of books, I have to give it to her. The breathtaking, pulse pounding, moving reads that come from her are just amazing!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 19, 2015

There are many rules a priest can’t break.
A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.

I’ve always been good at following rules.
Until she came.
My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I’m twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again.
I am a priest and this is my confession.

REVIEW:First and foremost, WOW. I wish I could use emoji’s in reviews, the fire one and the mind blown one would literally suit this so well. LOL. My mind is actually having trouble forming any other words but, hot diggity damn. As a new reader to Sierra Simone, I keep finding myself taking a long, wet swim in her worlds. Priest is the first in what I imagine will be a very spicy series. The book can be read as a standalone, and is sure to peak the interests of the Spicer readers.

There is so much to this book, so I will try to keep this review as basic as possible. Priest is the story of Tyler and Poppy, two people that you never think would meet, but do. Poppy is a prim and polished business woman, and Tyler is a Priest. When Poppy comes in for Confession, neither are prepared for what follows.

I can’t express enough the level of spicy this book holds, even for a person that reads the stuff that I read, my face was all kinds of red. Forbidden romance, knowing it’s wrong, but feels oh so right, neither Tyler or Poppy can stop what’s building now. There is so much to their story, the complication of Tyler’s vow to God, the Church and of course Poppy. I know some people may be offended by some parts of the story, so here is that warning now. It’s a mind boggling read that will have you pausing just to breathe normally. I downloaded the second book faster than lighting when I finished this story. Wow, fantastic, totally did freaked me out at how much I loved it!

SINNER
Priest 2
by Sierra Simone

ABOUT THE BOOK: March 15, 2018

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / Amazon.uk / Amazon.au /

I’m not a good man, and I’ve never pretended to be. I don’t believe in goodness or God or any happy ending that isn’t paid for in advance.

What do I believe in? Money. Sex. Macallan 18.

They have words for men like me—playboy. Womanizer. Skirt chaser.

My brother used to be a priest, and he only has one word for me.

Sinner.

•••••••••••

REVIEW: FLAWLESS!!

I didn’t think it was possible to adore another book by this author but I was wrong. Sinner blew me away. The second standalone book in the Priest series by Sierra Simone, Sinner is nothing less than an emotional wrecking ball of epic proportions. Sinner isn’t just another ghostly spicy read, it brings real issues to the forefront of the mind for readers to think about. Sierra has a way of building a world with characters that make the reader feel. She plunges into the dark waters of her own mind and brings up shining gold treasure that moves her readers. Reading her books really does feel like being transported to the world she builds, to the mind and pain these characters are feeling. It’s an escape from reality.

Sean and Zenny know what they are doing is filthy, but nothing has ever been so good for them before. Zenny has made her decision, she knows what she wants to do, but the one thing she wants before her new life starts is exploration. Exploration of herself, and not in the knowing your own mind kind of way, in the way that she wants as many O’s as she can possibly get. She wants to learn her own body, what it likes and doesn’t, what it means to feel sexy and wanted, to be with a man. She wants to sin. For that she needs Sean and all his sinning ways.

Holy, holy, holy, and not in the church find of way. Five stars doesn’t seem enough to give for this book, there needs to be more. If Sierra can make something like this, I wait with baited breath to see what she does next. It’s going to be a whole other level of hot.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date May 5, 2020

The genius and the sunshine girl. As children, we fought bitterly and often, bickering every chance we got.

But then we grew up.
Then we came back.

Delphine Dansey carries her heart on the outside of her body; she’s looking for love and chasing dreams. She’s spoiled and selfish, the kind of beautiful that’s made for money and fame. But somehow she’s ended up in my keeping: a pretty submissive I can’t seem to resist, a lover who obsesses and tempts me.

I thought I’d locked my heart away a long time ago, along with all my other weaknesses. But some doors won’t stay closed, no matter how hard I fight to keep them shut. She unravels me, just like our friends are unraveling, just like Thornchapel itself is unraveling.

All year long, we’ve been sowing lust and jealousy and pain, heedless of the consequences. But a harvest is inevitable, and so now we must reap our sorrows.

And our sighs.

••••••••

REVIEW:sigh…book three in the Thornchapel Series is here and Delphine and Rebecca are back, and front and center in this kick in the pants. First and most importantly, I do STRONGLY recommend you read the first two books before starting this. While you can read this as a standalone, I feel you will get much more out of the characters and the story line if they are read in order.

Now back to the good stuff. There is so much to this book and to the series, but of course with the cliffhanger in the last book we were all waiting with baited breath to see what would unfold. Well fellow readers, I can say without spoilers, that this one is going to entice you just as much as the previous two books.

While Delphine and Rebecca are strong characters in this book, we also get so much more of the background, plot and history that comes with the series, as well as the others we have come to know in the series. Becket, Sebastian and Proseprina are all key in this as well. In Harvest Sigh, you experience the most emotional journey of the three books, the anger, the fear and the curiosity of what comes next. It’s intense to say the least, I was on the edge of my kindle for most of this book.

Harvest Sigh delves into Delphine and Rebecca’s Dom and Sub relationship. These two women are a strangely perfect pair. We receive a look into Rebecca’s past and how she became a Domme as well as a look into what makes Delphine tick.

Towards the end of the book, we learn new things and Thornchapel is starting to crumble. The past is slowly coming to light, and the six friends are tested in ways they never knew. So much happens in this series and spoilers are so easy to ruin the best parts. For those readers who love a good mystery, suspense and passionate relationships, this is one for you.

One more left in the series and then it’s finished…how am I going to go on!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 24, 2019

Senior Detective Cat Day has one hard and fast rule about dating: no cops. They live hard and die young—a truth she’s faced every day since her fiancé’s tragic death several years ago. But when rookie Jace Sutton shows up to work the same burglary investigation, she feels desire she hasn’t felt in years.
Jace knows what he wants the minute Detective Day strolls onto his crime scene in heels and a pencil skirt tailored by God himself. He wants to thaw the legendary Ice Queen, and it only takes one hot, dirty night for Jace to realize he wants more. Much, much more.
But more is the last thing Cat wants from any cop—especially a playboy rookie like Jace. As the burglary investigation heats up and he repeatedly puts himself in danger, Cat must ask herself if Jace will be as reckless with her heart as he is with his life.

*****
Misadventures is a romantic series of spicy standalone novels, each written or co-written by some of the best names in romance. The stories are scandalous, refreshing, and, of course, incredibly sexy. They’re the perfect bedside read, a ‘quick blush’ for the reader who loves a page-turning romance.

•••••••••

REVIEW: Misadventures in Blue begins with rookie Jace Sutton making the scene of a burglary. Once he assesses the scene, he remembers that a senior detective, Cat Day, had put out an email about some burglaries that had the same m.o. He notifies his superior, who in turn notifies Cat. Jace has heard about Cat and her nickname, the ice queen, but when he sees her all he can think about is how incredibly beautiful she is.

When Cat Day arrives at the scene of yet another burglary, she can’t help but notice Jace Sutton. The instant attraction leaves her unnerved. She knows of her nickname, one that she has for good reason. Since she lost her fiancé, who happened to be a fellow cop, years ago, she vowed then to never be involved with another law enforcement officer. Yet her and Jace’s attraction to each other is palpable, and she does something she never thought she would ever do: invite him to her house. Little did either of them know how much one down and dirty night would change both of their lives.

Misadventures in Blue is a fast paced read. Both characters are nicely written and their chemistry is off the charts, even though Cat is a bit older than Jace. Cat continues to try and push Jace away and almost succeeds. Jace doesn’t care about the age difference and falls hard for Cat. He knows that she is scared about being involved with another cop, and does everything in his power to make her see past all of that. He also wants her to want him for more than just the down and dirty sex. For me, personally, the relationship was purely sexual. But, this is a novella, so there wasn’t a lot of character development. However, it was an enjoyable read. If you’re a fan of down and dirty and immediate attraction, you’ll not go wrong with this one.

FEAST OF SPARKS
Thornchapel #2
by Sierra Simone
Release Date : August 1,2019
Genre: adult, contemporary, erotic, romance

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Apple /

I’m an outcast and a loner, named for death itself. Fate wasn’t supposed to have plans for me.

But then she came back—the girl I once kissed in a thorn-covered chapel in the woods. She came back, and I could no more resist her than I could pry out my own heart. And by some trick of fate, she wants me as much as I want her. The only problem? She also wants the man who owns Thornchapel, Auden Guest.

And so do I.

Eight years ago, I did something to Auden, something terrible. He hurt me back the only way he knew how, and so here we are: our hatred seasoned with pain and my loneliness seasoned with longing. The only thing we can agree on is Proserpina Markham, and she wants us to find a way to be together—all three of us.

If Auden wants to earn her as his submissive, then he has to earn me as well.

But with the discovery of bones behind the altar and the carnal revel of Beltane fast approaching, it’s becoming clear that Thornchapel’s secrets are much deeper and older than any of us could have ever guessed. And no matter how bright and merry a feast of sparks may be, it’s always followed by ashes.

And darkness.

REVIEW: Desperate for More!

The second installment in Sierra Simone’s Thronchapel series, Feast of Sparks wows and enthralls readers has them begging for more. Now this should NOT be read as a standalone, I recommend you read it after the first in the series, A Lesson in Thorns, there is too much back story and information key in the first book that you simple need before reading this one.

But baby once you do? Well get your fuzzy slippers and popcorn ladies and gents, because this one is going to knock your socks off.

We are brought back to Thornchapel and the same characters we all love, but this book digs so much deeper into the lives of some of the group, digs into the secrets of their parents as well. Now without spoilers, because this series is just too good to spoil, I will say, this book was a little harder to follow timeline wise than the first. There are twist and turns, the plot thickens and when you think it’s going one way , you take a whole another branch and it leads you in another direction.

My favorite part about this is the back story we get about Saint and Auden’s relationship, and the ending! The ending, you will not see that coming, I sure didn’t.

These were both such a pleasure to read!! I love the series and can’t wait to see how it end.

REVIEW:

Our Thorns await.

A lesson in Thorns is the first in a new series by Sierra Simone. A warning before we start, if you’re not an open-minded person and don’t like more than one partner play, this may not be for you. That being said this story includes more than just sex, both M/M, M/F and F/F, it’s suspenseful, paranormal and almost has a magical feel to it in some parts.

The story surrounds six people, friends as children and brought back together, years later, back to the birthplace of Thornechapel. Now without giving away too many spoilers, these characters are more than connected as friends, their parents were also friends and also had an experience with Thornechapel.

Throughout the story we are pulled into different plots through different character point of views, but I can say that connection between each character is very interesting and compelling. The story line is very unique and interesting, and you must give it time to come to it’s full closer before you do anything else.

This book was frustrating amazing and it was hard to put in down, there was so much to take in all the time that I felt like if I didn’t read more, I would miss something. Ms. Simone takes a group of child friends and turns it into something I have truly never seen before.
